Taking a cue from open-sided armchairs from the Victorian and Edwardian eras, Brit designer Matthew Hilton delivers a standout modern 3 seater. In league with SCP’s specialized craftsmanship, the sofa’s curved contours take shape with a hardwood ply and beech frame and ash legs and arm supports. The back is webbed, sprung and elasticated and then structured with coconut hair, wool felt and needled wool to underpin a score of fine bespoke upholstery choices. Made in Norfolk, England.
